Kathmandu- The death toll from the catastrophic floods triggered by the Rasuwa disaster has risen to 157, according to an official bulletin released by Nepal Police at 11:05 PM.  

Security forces and rescue teams operating along affected river basins across seven districts have recovered 157 bodies so far, with Chitwan reporting the highest number of fatalities.  

District-by-District Breakdown:

 Chitwan: 64  

 Dhading: 27  

 Nawalparasi (East): 22  

 Gorkha: 19  

 Nuwakot: 13  

 Tanahun: 9  

 Rasuwa: 3  

Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and local authorities continue extensive search and rescue operations along riverbanks and downstream flood zones. Authorities warn that the casualty count may rise further as search efforts continue.
