ADELAIDE: Preparations have officially begun for the 7th Oceania Nepalese Sports Meet (ONSM) 2027, which will be held in Adelaide, South Australia, from 25–28 March 2027.

Organisers have announced the South Australia State Coordination Committee, led by Vijay Joshi as Coordinator. The event’s official motto is “United by Heritage, Inspired by Sport,” with the Koala unveiled as the official mascot.

Australian Paralympic gold medallist Katrina Webb OAM has been appointed the event’s Goodwill Ambassador.

Around 700–800 Nepalese athletes from across Australia and New Zealand are expected to participate in the four-day sporting festival, which is also expected to boost tourism and strengthen multicultural community engagement in South Australia.
